Setting up a domain to Office 365

When we need to configure a domain for the Office 365 service from Microsoft, go to the step-by-step instructions page of this service, where we find the data with the DNS-records that need to be entered for the domain.

Then we will find out the steps that should be taken if your domain is served by NIC.UA.

1. Go to the "Domains" menu in your NIC.UA personal account, make sure that your domain uses the "NIC.UA Name Servers".

If the domain uses other NS, click on the gear next to the required domain. In the "NS-servers" section, select "NIC.UA nameservers", click "Change NS".

2. Go to the "Name Servers" section. Click on the gear next to the desired NS and you will see a table with all the records. To make changes, click "Change".

3. There will be opened a menu in which you will need to add several lines of DNS records obtained from your Office 365 account.

⚠️Please note: changes in NS servers and DNS-records may take effect after a period of time — from 4 to 72 hours. This is due to the storage of information about domains at  Internet providers: they save all user's requests and store them for a certain time.
