Sometimes there are situations when the memory limit on the hosting is exceeded and you have made a decision to delete emails. In such a situation, deleting letters is performed using the file manager in the hosting panel.
First, log into your DirectAdmin hosting panel and navigate to File Manager under System & Files. In the file manager go to the imap folder and select the folder with the domain name.
Then select the folder with the account name. For example, if the email address is info@domain.com, then the folder will be named 'info'.
Next, go to the directory named "Maildir".
All new emails will be in the 'new' folder, all other emails will be in the 'cur' folder.
In the folders, check which letters you want to delete and check the boxes next to them. Then click the "Delete" button.
Please note, when the notification shown below appears, uncheck the box next to the "To Trash" item and click the "Delete" button again
If all mails in your account are needed and cannot be deleted please consider the possibility of changing a hosting tariff plan.
