The use of the Shopify platform is becoming popular in Ukraine, there is also possible to use your own domain name. Follow these few steps to set up your domain.
1. Change name servers in the domain
First, go to the order properties in the "Domains" section of your personal account.
Then select the "NIC.UA name servers" item from the list, press the "Change NS" button and wait for the page to load.
2. Configure DNS records on name servers
To do this, go to the "Name Servers" section and click on the gear-shaped button next to the renew button.
Below on the page, click the "Edit" button next to the "DNS Records" heading.
Then delete the current records, double-click the "Add Record" button and create records with the following parameters:
- Name: @
- Type: A
- IPv4 address: 23.227.38.65
- Name: www
- Type: CNAME
- Host alias: shops.myshopify.com. (notice the dot after 'com').
After creating new entries, click the "Save" button. The changes will take effect within 4-24 hours when the ISP's DNS cache is updated.
