What are name servers?

Name servers is an additional service to the domain that allows you to configure which hosting will open the domain, which server to forward mail to, or where the site visitor will be redirected to. This is possible thanks to DNS records that are stored on the name servers.

You can use the NIC.UA name servers and then you can manage the DNS records of your domain through the NIC.UA personal account, section "Name Servers (NS)".

Or you can use external name servers (for example, your hosting provider): then all management of DNS records will be no longer on NIC.UA account, but on your hosting provider.
