To work with a hosting account through a terminal, you need access via the SSH protocol. By default, on hosting with cPanel, the port for the SSH protocol is closed, so you must first contact support and provide the following information:
- order number for hosting from your NIC.UA account,
- PIN-code for support from the Dashboard menu of your NIC.UA account.
To log in, you will need a login and password from the hosting panel, as well as a hosting server. This data is available in the properties of the hosting order in your personal account. To get them, go to the "Hosting" section and click on the gear-shaped button next to the order.
In the order properties, find the "Hosting settings" section, where you will find the data you are looking for.
To connect via the terminal, use the following command (instead of the data from the screenshot, use your order data):
sudo ssh a1987ppu@tzk702.nic.ua -p 2345
Please note that for security reasons a non-standard port is used: 2345.
